Contents / Structure of the subject:
Types of information systems. Procedures for development of information systems. Process modeling. File Organization. The concept of database (DB). System for database management. Basic concepts and characteristics of data models. EP data model. Relational data model. Classification and types of constraints in the relational data model. Functional dependency and key patterns of the relationship. The use of questionable language in the description of the SQL database schema and manipulate data in the DB. Basics of transaction processing. Distributed database. Data Warehouse Systems.
